It’s going to be November soon, which means we’re getting closer to the moment Avengers fans have been waiting for, the release of the first Avengers 4 trailer. Hopefully, Marvel will also announce the title of the film, although I wouldn’t be surprised if they left it a mystery. Recent reports claimed that Avengers: Annihilation will be the title of the fourth film, a leak that supposedly ruffled some feathers at Marvel, but I digress. Regardless of what Avengers 4 is called, we have what seems to be the first believable trailer leak for you.
The first ‘Avengers 4’ trailer supposedly leaked online
The first ‘Avengers 4’ trailer supposedly leaked online

Before you get too excited, you should know this isn’t the video version of the first Avengers 4 trailer leak. Instead, someone who claims to have had access to a rough cut posted the script from the trailer on Reddit. We’ve seen similar trailer “leaks” on Reddit, but this time it’s different. Not only does this person have a proven track record reporting details about Marvel films on Reddit, but the trailer script itself doesn’t seem to be fan fiction.

Reddit user vfxgurudontmind started his leak by saying this:

Sup, you guys don’t know me. However few years ago I was the one who posted here on a throw away saying Spider-Man appears in the Civil War Trailer #2 (I told people to remember the word “underoos.”)

And ended it by saying that he also mentioned Red Skull being in Infinity War:

Just like Civil War, I’ll come back to this post once it drops for you guys’ thoughts. Then bye bye to this account. Also, I mentioned Red Skull being in Infinity War, but at the time I didn’t know if it was 100% sure. I just knew some guys working on it that talked about it.

As for the trailer leak, he said that the first trailer will be about two minutes long and that there are plenty of black screens in it, all of them lasting one or two seconds. The anonymous Redditor also noted that the trailer should debut on November 21st, 28th, or December 12th on Good Morning America, with a new Captain Marvel extended trailer set to drop around Christmas.

That said, here’s the actual trailer script leak, without any edits, as shared on Reddit (complete with the original poster’s comments in bold):

Final Trailer is about 2ish minutes. But it starts with the 10th year logo, which zooms into the screen in logo fashion but it flashes all colors of the stones as it does

Thanos’ voice: “My Destiny is not yet fulfilled…” A shot of a battered Tony, looks as though he’s still on Titan, confused. “Greater threats arise to undo the balance I lost everything to achieve… and I…. will not… be undone” Shot of Banner and Cap with Vision on a table fades in and out… Shot of Quill’s ship lifting off. Fades. Tony: “Fury was right.” He’s talking to someone out of view in some type of normal house. This MIGHT be Aunt May, he’s glossy eyed, and the dialogue is spoken over the prior screen, not actually what’s he’s saying. “He was right since day 1…” black screen

Tony: scene of him in some sort of garage looking place. In front of 3 different suits, they seem pretty normal? None are the one that was leaked, he has the housing unit in his hands. “I’ll do whatever it takes so that never happens again…” black screen

Tony in SHIELD gear. He’s walking towards the camera with soldiers behind him.

Shot of Ant Man standing in the Quantum Realm. Cuts to him surrounded by 3 tardigrades. He’s running, then stops at a green portal type thing. Fades to a shot of Scott in street clothes. Gray shirt jeans and a jean jacket. Scott: “ I think… I might have a way to help.” Not sure who he’s speaking to. Or if this is even the real dialogue lol. Doesn’t look like it matches.

Shot of an empty throne in Wakanda, various shots of Shuri, M’Baku, and Okoye. Black screen “This was NOT our fight…” Shuri or Okoye couldn’t tell. Screen still black. Shot of Cap standing arms crossed with Rhodey, Rocket and Thor, in a room that looks like it’s still Wakanda.
Cap: “We need to make this right…”
Banner: “Cap we don’t even know where to start… Thanos is gone. He won.” Thor: “Well… then we had better get to work”

Shot panning down slowly of the pager Fury had in someone’s hands. I’m almost 100% certain it’s in Tony’s hands.

A shot of Rhodey suiting up very briefly, from the knees up to the crotch area lol, it’s not nanotech, but looks more or less exactly how Star-Lord’s mask materializes with a Thor voiceover: “Are you ready for this?”

Rocket: “Well… if I’m not…” pause. Black Fades in to Rocket, music silences: “What more could I lose?” Bifrost shot w/ Thor, War Machine, and Rocket. Various shots. Gauntlet, still damaged, being reached for, shot of Nebula (looks like the same place Tony was earlier), and then shot of Banner. Black screen.

Thor: “We need an army to stand against Thanos…” shot of Thanos putting on armor. “Yours is the only one formidable enough to give us a chance…” shot of Thanos wielding a big double edge sword. “So I ask of you…” Various shots of Black Widow, brief shot of Tony’s suit, Caps new chest piece (chainmail!!!) and Banner putting on a purple skintight suit and a button up over it In front of a mirror.

Fades to Thor, “Will you help us?” More various shots, including a broken gauntlet on the ground as someone (clearly Thanos) is walking away… same aesthetic and scenery as the one when it’s being reached for. (I think he throws it on the ground??) “It’s been awhile since I’ve been to Earth…”

Music is getting louder as it crescendos to a shot of Captain Marvel’s chest panning up to her face. The scenery behind her almost looks like Xandar. Because it can’t be Earth (that would make no sense) but it’s blue skies and clouds outside a window… Captain Marvel: “Let’s go” Shot of her flying towards something angrily, she cocks back a punch, eyes glowing, flames surround her. She punches, then [Title Card] as Avengers theme plays.

However it doesn’t actually have anything, it’s just a blank screen with the music.. Post theme cutaway stinger, Rocket is in a rolling chair looking at a few computer screens, has on this cool ass white bodysuit.

Rhodey: “I’ve seen a lot of crazy things, but a talking Raccoon? (rocket looks up at him from chair) Definitely tops them all…” Rocket, going from Rhodey back to the computer screens sarcastically: “boy if I had a unit* every time I heard that one” cuts to a shot of Thor smiling with an off queue “Ha Ha Ha.” Trailer ends…

As I said, this trailer leak reads so much better than the others you may have seen on Reddit, and that’s purely because it doesn’t give away any details about what it’s going to happen next. It’s the kind of trailer that would fit, showing glimpses of the surviving heroes trying to deal with what just happened while simultaneously plotting to undo all the damage done by Thanos’ snap.

The first full-length trailer for Jessica Jones season 2 has arrived, and one thing is extremely clear: she's not doing great. After her wins in the first season and The Defenders, the hard-drinking superpowered private investigator (Krysten Ritter) is eager to disappear back into the shadows, but her public fame and troubled past won't allow that. "My whole family was killed in a car accident.
Someone did horrific experiments on me, and all this super-vigilante shit keeps coming at me," Jones complains to her best friend, radio host Trish Walker (Rachael Taylor), likely with a drink in her out-of-frame hand. She wants to keep the past buried despite having questions, but Walker persuades her that "just knowing what was done to you might help you".

The trailer states that Jones isn't the only one of her kind, with Jones questioning the unnamed character being played by Janet McTeer: "How many others are there like me?" On the business side of things, she's having to deal with an acquisition offer from a rival (Terry Chen). "I never take no for an answer," Chen's character says at one point, to which Jones snarkily replies: "How rapey of you." Chen's character isn't just a P.I. rival, it seems though, given we see him later fighting it out with both Jones and Walker.
Fans have been waiting for the latter to become the hero – Hellcat – she is in the comics, and there are obvious hints that something of that sort will happen. "Jessica might not want a sidekick, but she needs one," Walker says off-screen. We'll have to wait till March 8 to find out, when Jessica Jones season 2 hits Netflix. Expectations are high from the show's second season, given the first season remains the best of the lot Marvel-Netflix have given us, and the fact that recent outings have not been good enough.

Tom Cruise is back as Ethan Hunt in the first trailer for Mission: Impossible – Fallout, the sixth entry in the long-running film series and the first helmed by a returning director in Christopher McQuarrie, who was also behind the fifth chapter in 2015, Rogue Nation. The Mission: Impossible – Fallout trailer opens with a bird's eye view of Paris, before sweeping through dark corridors, narrow alleys, and what seems like New Zealand, while an unseen narrator – who's later revealed to be the rogue former MI6 agent Solomon Lane (Sean Harris) – riffs on the famous line: "Your mission, should you choose to accept it. I wonder, did you ever choose not to? The end you always feared is coming."

Post that, the over two-minute clip moves into a higher gear, laying down the plot for Mission: Impossible – Fallout, which involves a bunch of plutonium, nuclear attacks, and the CIA. Of course, all of that is merely an excuse to allow Cruise to perform a series of outrageous stunts, which involve scaling a steep cliff, rappelling up a helicopter, and jumping rooftops. And oh, a lot of running, obviously. "What the hell is he doing?" a character asks at one point, to which Beji Dunn (Simon Pegg) replies: "I find it best not to look," speaking for the audience. Most of Hunt's associates are back to help him, including brute warrior Luther Stickell (Ving Rhames), his wife Julia Meade-Hunt (Michelle Monaghan), Secretary Hunley (Alec Baldwin), and Rogue Nation newbie Ilsa Faust (Rebecca Ferguson). There are some new additions too, in Henry Cavill, Vanessa Kirby, Sian Brooke, and Angela Bassett.

HBO has released the first teaser trailer for Westworld season 2, along with an exact release date: April 22. The one and a half minute clip – which aired during the 2018 Super Bowl – is the first piece of new footage we've seen from the show since the end of the first season back in December 2016. The Westworld season 2 trailer takes a sombre, slow-moving approach rather than the usual fast-cut method that's aimed to drive excitement, thanks to co-creator Jonathan Nolan directing it himself. It begins with a look at the vast plains of Westworld, accompanied by a piano cover version of Kanye West's 2010 hit Runaway, performed by none other than the show's composer, Ramin Djawadi. "We built this world together, a world where dreams come true," Dolores (Evan Rachel Wood) says via voice-over.

But the wide open landscape shots give way to a herd of android bulls charging at men with guns, with the landscape revealed to be nothing more than a giant screen advertising Westworld. "This world deserves to die," she adds. Meanwhile, we get glimpses of the other cast members who will return in Westworld season 2, including Maeve (Thandie Newton), Bernard (Jeffrey Wright), Man in Black (Ed Harris), Logan (Ben Barnes), and Clementine (Angela Sarafyan). Newton's android host makes a dramatic entrance following the charging bulls, with Dolores continuing her voice-over: "We can save this world, we can burn it to the ground." "From the ashes, build a new world," she finishes. "Our world." In its announcement, HBO revealed that the ad spot for Westworld season 2 was the network's first Super Bowl ad in 20 years.

Disney has given us the first look at Solo: A Star Wars Story – the standalone film in a galaxy far, far away featuring a young Han Solo – ahead of the full-length trailer that's set to debut on Monday night. The 45-second spot, which aired during the 2018 Super Bowl, begins on an Imperial ship with an officer asking a new unseen recruit what branch he's interested in joining. "I'm going to be a pilot, the best in the galaxy," the recruit replies.
After that, we get glimpses of a sleek, brand-new Millennium Falcon from the inside, rather than the aged version we're used to seeing, in addition to Emilia Clarke as the mysterious new character Kira, a new droid, Woody Harrelson as a criminal and Han's eventual mentor Beckett, Donald Glover as a young Lando Calrissian, and a very brief glimpse of Solo himself, played by Alden Ehrenreich. Sure, it's only been a month and a half since the release of The Last Jedi, but the first teaser of Solo: A Star Wars Story is arriving much later than most expected, given the magnitude of the Star Wars franchise, and the fact that the release date is less than four months away.

The wait has only further driven the speculation that all is not right with the film, given Lucasfilm fired the original directors Phil Lord and Christopher Miller midway through production, and then replaced them with Ron Howard, who's reportedly reshot a large chunk of Solo: A Star Wars Story.
For what it's worth, the standalone Solo adventure does look different from the visual aesthetic of prior entries. And we don't have to wait too long to see the full trailer, which airs on ABC's Good Morning America on Monday morning in the US. Solo: A Star Wars Story releases May 25 worldwide.

Star Wars - The Last Jedi Review Roundup
Star Wars: The Last Jedi’ review roundup: Questions are answered, rules are broken : Two years after Star Wars was resurrected with The Force Awakens, we have our first sequel since Revenge of the Sith. Thankfully (at least based on the early reviews), it appears that the franchise has taken a welcome step forward under the direction of Rian Johnson, best known for Brick and Looper previous to this. After premiering earlier this week, the first reviews have flooded the internet this morning, and though there is some variance and a few naysayers, the overall reaction has been overwhelming positive. In general, reviewers say that The Last Jedi is a fresh start for the franchise that breaks plenty of rules while still respecting the universe. There are tons of reviews to check out all over the internet, but here are six to get a basic idea of the early reaction:
The Verge Tasha Robinson of The Verge was struck by how willingly The Last Jedi solved mysteries and answered questions:
It’s surprising how neatly and succinctly Last Jedi wraps up the open-ended stories — there are still plenty of details left to address about the new characters’ pasts, but the film answers the trilogy’s biggest questions to date with a directness that feels blunt and pointed: “You need to move on, and you can’t until you have your answers. So here are those answers.”
The Guardian For The Guardian, Peter Bradshaw noted that even the “muddled” story wasn’t enough to dilute the experience:
The Last Jedi gives you an explosive sugar rush of spectacle. It’s a film that buzzes with belief in itself and its own mythic universe – a euphoric certainty that I think no other movie franchise has. And there is no provisional hesitation or energy dip of the sort that might have been expected between episodes seven and nine. What there is, admittedly, is an anticlimactic narrative muddle in the military story, but this is not much of a flaw considering the tidal wave of energy and emotion that crashes out of the screen in the final five minutes. It’s impossible not to be swept away.
Variety As did many others, Variety’s Peter Debruge noticed that The Last Jedi has a surprising sense of humor:
Revealed as a bearded and cloaked recluse at the end of “The Force Awakens,” Luke is funnier than we’ve ever seen him — a personality change that betrays how “Star Wars” has been influenced by industry trends. Though the series has always been self-aware enough to crack jokes, it now gives in to the same winking self-parody that is poisoning other franchises of late, from the Marvel movies to “Pirates of the Caribbean.” But it begs the question: If movies can’t take themselves seriously, why should audiences?
BBC Writing for the BBC, Nicholas Barber highlights the similarities between The Last Jedi and Empire Strike Back:
Echoing The Empire Strikes Back, The Last Jedi opens with the baddies’ heavy artillery turning a rebel base into a firework display. A zippy dogfight follows, and Poe Dameron (Oscar Isaac) is established as an insubordinate hothead who is frowned upon by Princess Leia (Carrie Fisher) and her purple-haired right-hand woman Admiral Holdo (Laura Dern). The plot then splits into two strands, exactly as the plot of The Empire Strikes Back did.
USA Today In his review for USA Today, Brian Truitt points to two standout performances that gave the movie weight:
The Last Jedi is Driver’s to rule as much as Force Awakens was Ridley’s, and he’s awesome in it — Kylo is blockbuster cinema’s most magnetic and unpredictable antagonist since Heath Ledger’s Dark Knight Joker. Just as good is the original Star Wars hero: Hamill lends gravitas, warmth, power and even humility to old Luke in a memorable performance.
CNN Finally, CNN broke with the crowd, calling The Last Jedi “unsatisfying” and many of the new characters “disposable”:
Carrie Fisher’s death last year serves as a somber footnote to the movie, and beyond her warming presence, there’s a lovely dedication to her in the closing credits. What precedes that overall, alas, represents a creative step back, not a leap forward. Optimistically, “The Last Jedi” leaves plenty of intriguing possibilities for the climactic installment. But there’s also the kind of room for improvement that remind us when it comes to “Star Wars,” such hopes — new or otherwise — spring eternal.
Star Wars: The Last Jedi will release in theaters this Friday, December 15th.

In 2012, she came in 4th on the Forbes top-earning models list, estimated to have earned $7.3 million in one year. In 2013, she came in 3rd place and in 2014 she came in 2nd place with earnings of $8 million. In 2015, she came in 2nd place with earnings of $9 million. In 2016, she kept the 2nd place with earnings of $10.5 million.

Lima's first acting role was the wife, alongside Mickey Rourke and Forest Whitaker, in The Follow (2001), a short film in BMW's series The Hire, starring Clive Owen and directed by Wong Kar-wai.[29] She also appeared with her fellow Angels in a guest spot playing herself in the CBS comedy series How I Met Your Mother in November 2007. She also played herself, along with fellow Victoria's Secret Angels, in the 2013 series The Crazy Ones starring Robin Williams and Sarah Michelle Gellar.

In 2008, Lima appeared on the American television series Ugly Betty, where she played herself and made friends with the series' title character, Betty.

Early life

Lima was born in June 12, 1981, in Salvador, Brazil. Many sources state that "Francesca" is her middle name, but Lima herself denied this in an interview to W Radio Colombia in 2010, and confirmed that her name is only Adriana Lima. Her parents are Nelson Torres and Maria das Graças Lima, a social worker. Her father left the family when she was six months old, and Lima was raised only by her mother.

Career and modeling

Three years later, Lima moved to New York City and signed with Elite Model Management. After acquiring representation, Lima's modeling portfolio quickly began to expand, and she appeared in numerous international editions of Vogue and Marie Claire.

Her first magazine cover was Marie Claire Brazil in September 1998. Her first Vogue cover was the Italian Vogue Gioiello in September 2000, on their 20th Anniversary issue.

As a runway model, she has walked the catwalk for designers such as Rosa Cha, Blue man, Fashion's Night Out, Caio Gobbi, Fause Haten, M. Lima is probably best known for her work with Victoria's Secret. She walked her first Victoria’s Secret runway in 1999, at age 18 and since being contracted as an Angel in 2000, she has appeared on subsequent shows ever since, opening the show in 2003, 2007, 2008, and 2010. In 2012, she opened the show for the 5th time less than two months after giving birth to her second child.

In 2004, she was part of the five Angels promoting Victoria's Secret nationwide in the so-called "Angels Across America"-Tour alongside Tyra Banks, Heidi Klum, Gisele Bündchen and Alessandra Ambrosio. She missed the 2009 show due to her pregnancy. Lima has appeared on several television ads for the brand, including the praised and criticized "Angel in Venice" commercial of 2003 with Bob Dylan.

If you’re wondering how Steven Spielberg will bring the dystopian, VR-heavy world of Ready Player One to life, you can get your first real glimpse in the trailer (technically, a teaser for San Diego Comic Con) above.
The film is based on Ernest Cline’s novel — a book that’s been recommend to me many times as one of the best depictions of virtual reality and gaming in fiction. (Sorry, I still haven’t read it!)
One of the story’s main elements is a virtual world called OASIS. What we see of OASIS in the trailer might not feel terribly visually distinctive, but it certainly looks fun and flashy, throwing together a hodgepodge of pop culture references.
I also laughed a couple of times at the marketing-speak, which is overhyped even by the standards of movie trailers. Spielberg isn’t just an award-winning director, he’s a “cinematic game-changer.” Ready Player One isn’t just a popular book, it’s a “holy grail of pop culture.”
According to The Hollywood Reporter, Spielberg discussed the film at Comic Con, where he described it as “the most amazing flash-forward and flashback at the same time about a decade I was very involved in, the ’80s, and a flash-forward to a future that is awaiting all of us, whether we like it or not.”
Anyway, despite my reservations, I’m feeling hopeful about this. It’s Spielberg, you know?  And aside from The Matrix, the bar for VR-in-film is pretty low.
Ready Player One stars Tye Sheridan as Wade Watts, with a script by Cline and Zak Penn. It’s scheduled to open on March 30, 2018.

‘Game of Thrones’ premiere breaks HBO streaming recordsThe anticipated season 7 premiere of HBO’s flagship series “Game of Thrones” set a number of new records for the network on Sunday night, including again setting the record for the most-watched premiere in HBO’s history for any series, the company reports. But the show achieved another milestone as well – due to the popularity of HBO’s streaming apps HBO GO and HBO NOW, the premiere also saw the highest ever number of concurrent viewers across HBO’s streaming services, too.
Of those 16.1 million viewers, the majority were still watching on linear TV. The 9 PM linear premiere – meaning those who watch the show live via traditional pay TV – saw 10.1 million viewers tuning in, or a 27 percent increase from last season’s debut in April,  was then saw 7.9 million live TV viewers.
In total, the season 7 premiere reached a combined audience of 16.1 million viewers across its linear TV airing, same day DVR playback, and streaming via HBO GO and HBO NOW. That’s a 50 percent increase over the season 6 premiere last year, HBO says.

These increases could put “Game of Thrones” season 7 on track to bust season 6’s earlier records, it seems. Last season’s episodes ending up averaging a gross audience of 25.7 million viewers apiece. Season 7 has already started off ahead in terms of linear TV viewers, total viewers, and concurrent streaming viewers, which is a promising start for the new season.

Not surprisingly, this massive influx of viewers to HBO’s online services led to some glitches across HBO’s platform, where it operates the HBO GO streaming service for pay TV viewers, and HBO NOW, a $15 per month option for cord cutters.
Users on Twitter complained about HBO GO outages, but the network claims that the streaming service actually didn’t see widespread issues. Instead, it notes that it was the HBO GO service in Latin America that experienced outages, which the network is continuing to troubleshoot. U.S. viewers weren’t impacted by those specific problems, however.
Still, a number of viewers noted that the website went down during the first half of the season 7 East Coast premiere, and only recovered during the final portion.

In addition, some issues users dealt with had to do with the authorization piece of HBO GO.

Many of the issues streaming users experienced with the HBO platform weren’t due to the platform itself buckling under the load – as is common with streaming services – but were instead problems with local distributors’ ability to authorize subscriber accounts due to the overwhelming number of requests. The network adds that those issues subsided quickly and service resumed as normal.

Of course, end users don’t care if it’s the platform or the authorization piece that’s failing – they just want it to work.

HBO’s streaming platforms have experienced issues in the past, but those problems have not been widespread for some time. Most notably, the 4th season premiere of “Game of Thrones” led to larger outages back in 2014, and then the finale of “True Detective” crashed the service as well, according to Hollywood Reporter. Later, in 2016, HBO NOW suffered problems during the “Battle of the Bastards” episode, said Deadline.

Monday Motivation: 5 Personalities Who Tasted Failure Before Success
Who does not fear failure? The dynamics of failure and success can be best understood by likes of an athlete running a marathon, success rate of an entrepreneur launching a start-up or even a school student preparing for JEE examination. As per a study, serial entrepreneurs have more success rate then starters which means more you try more you have chance to succeed in the end for sure.
Likewise, in India, JEE is one of the most challenging competitive examination in India, there are many students who are unable to clear the test in their first attempt. However, that should not bog down your spirit because every dark cloud has a silver lining. In fact, some students are better prepared and more relaxed while preparing for JEE entrance exam the second time. All you need to do is organize JEE study material app to kickstart a new beginning. So, as you get set to go a second time, we bring you the stories of 5 famous personalities who got a taste of failure before striking a home run with success –
Mary Kom
Magnificent Mary, the Olympian Bronze Medalist in boxing is one of the most remarkable Indian sportswomen of the current generation. Belonging to a poor family from a small village in Manipur, odds were against her from the very start. As the eldest child of the family, she had responsibilities towards her younger siblings. She started her boxing career after the success of Dingko Singh, gold medalist in 1998 Asian Games. He inspired her to take up boxing.

Although she started her training in boxing in 2000, her family were not supportive initially. After initial struggles and failure, Mary Kom went on to become World Champion in Amateur boxing five times.

JK Rowling
The well-known British author of the Harry Potter fantasy series struggled as a writer in early 1990s. Her first book from the series’ Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone was rejected by 12 publishing house before Bloomsbury Publication agreed to print the book. In 1997, only 500 copies of the book were printed. However, as the book earned a reputation as the best children’s book, the author and the book both received accolades from the readers and the publishing houses from across the world. Today 7 books (series) later, the series is one of the best series of book in history and has even been made into Hollywood movies.

Albert Einstein
Father of the theory of relativity and Nobel laureate Albert Einstein is one of the greatest mind of the 20th century. However, he had his fair share of struggles and failure growing up. He could not clear the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology in his first attempt. And later, his doctoral dissertation was rejected because his institute thought it was “irrelevant and fanciful”. These failures did haunt him, but not for once did he turn his focus away from pursuit experiment and discover. In 1921, his potential and talent were recognized as we went on to win Nobel Prize in Physics.

Amitabh Bachchan
Before Amitabh Bachchan became the voice of the Hindi film industry and a well-known international celebrity, he faced rejection not only in the movies but radio as well. The legendry actor is known for his deep baritone voice, however not many know that All India Radio rejected his voice for being too thick and deep. Today, Mr. Bachchan’s greatest asset is his voice.

Steven Spielberg
The famous Hollywood director who has to his credit movies like ET, Jurassic Park and Bridge of Spies, had to deal with failures as well. This talented filmmaker had a troubled academic life in school. He was also rejected from the University of Southern California, not once, twice, but a total of three times. However, today he is one of the most successful, established and wealthiest filmmaker in the world.

Failure is not such a bad thing. It can motivate you to work hard, therefore always take it in your stride. Don’t be disappointed if you did not clear JEE this year. To get on with your studies, pick up the right JEE study material like Aakash iTutor. It is a digital platform that lets you study at your own pace. So that there is no looking back. All the best!

Watch the new trailer for Blade Runner 2049
The sequel to Blade Runner is arriving in theaters on October 6, thirty years after the original, and the latest trailer sheds a lot more light on the story and what’s happened in the intervening decades. This trailer gives us a lot of good Jared Leto time (and he’s definitely a creepy big bad), plus a scene with Dave Bautista doing a good job of not getting typecast as Drax.

This is also another look at the environments and cinematography used in the Blade Runnersequel, which comes off just as impressive as it has in previous stills and video. Nothing I’ve seen so far has me expecting anything short of a great movie from Blade Runner 2049, and the balancing act of recreating the feel of a 30-year-old movie while keeping it modern looks amazing.

Doctor Who: Jodie Whittaker announced as 13th DoctorThe next star of Doctor Who has been announced after intense speculation – and the person stepping into the role of Time Lord is Jodie Whittaker.

She is the first woman to take on the role, playing the 13th Doctor in the BBC1 drama. Whittaker, who rose to fame in ITV’s crime drama Broadchurch, had been touted as one of the contenders.

Debate has been whirring over who would play the Doctor ever since Peter Capaldi announced in January that he was leaving the programme.
Jodie Whittaker has been announced as Doctor Who's 13th Time Lord - the first woman to be given the role.
Chris Chibnall, Doctor Who’s new head writer and executive producer, said: “After months of lists, conversations, auditions, recalls, and a lot of secret-keeping, we’re excited to welcome Jodie Whittaker as the 13th Doctor.
“I always knew I wanted the 13th Doctor to be a woman and we’re thrilled to have secured our number one choice. Her audition for the Doctor simply blew us all away.
“Jodie is an in-demand, funny, inspiring, super-smart force of nature and will bring loads of wit, strength and warmth to the role. The 13th Doctor is on her way.”
Whittaker said: “I’m beyond excited to begin this epic journey – with Chris and with every Whovian on this planet. It’s more than an honour to play the Doctor. It means remembering everyone I used to be, while stepping forward to embrace everything the Doctor stands for: hope. I can’t wait.”

On 4 July, BBC2’s current affairs programme Newsnight appeared to reveal the identity of the new Doctor. Presenter Evan Davis said: “Bookies’ favourite Phoebe Waller-Bridge has denied claims that she’s going to be the first female Doctor. But then, Joanna Lumley has already played the role for Comic Relief, so that would technically be true.”
Casting the first female Doctor is something many viewers have been calling for. And strong female-led stories have been successful on the big and small screen in recent years, in films ranging from The Hunger Games and Star Wars to Wonder Woman, and in TV series like Game of Thrones.

Emily Cook, editorial assistant at Doctor Who magazine, said: “I am very excited about this. As soon as I saw Jodie Whittaker appear on the video in the BBC clip announcing her, it just felt right – she just felt like the Doctor. Having a female Doctor is really exciting and significant. I cannot wait to see what she does with the role and where she takes the show.

“She will bring a freshness. She is younger than Peter Capaldi and, being a woman, she will have a different approach to the role. It’s completely new territory for the show and that is very exciting. Whittaker has worked with David Tennant on Broadchurch and St Trinian’s so there is a strong Doctor Who connection there.”

Erica Lear, the social secretary at the Doctor Who Appreciation Society, said: “I think it’s very brave but she is a brilliant actress. I did not expect it but I think it’s brilliant. My only wish was that we have a good actor and that is what we have.”

But Lear noted that the appointment might divide opinion. “It will spark debate and split fandom; there will be lots of people not happy with the decision but it’s up to the new series to change their mind.”
"She has above all the huge heart to play this most special part. She's going to be a fantastic Doctor."
Sebastian J Brook, site editor at Doctor Who Online, said: “Today’s announcement has been a shock for many fans, but this is a show about change, and perhaps now is the time that we all get behind the idea of a female Doctor?”

Brook added: “I must admit, I’ve always been of the opinion that the Doctor is and should be a man. He has always identified as male in the series, and after 50+ years, it’s certainly going to take some getting used to, but I support the show and Jodie is a fantastic actress, so she gets my full support, too.”
Capaldi said: “Anyone who has seen Jodie Whittaker’s work will know that she is a wonderful actress of great individuality and charm. She has above all the huge heart to play this most special part. She’s going to be a fantastic Doctor.”

Colin Baker, the sixth actor to play the role, from 1984–86, also applauded the decision.

Here we are, in mid-July, with our sanity melting, our norms crumbling, and the Larsen Ice Shelf breaking up and heading straight toward us. But cheer up: winter, in “Game of Thrones” form, is here! I don’t know what you have been doing in the off-season, but I’ve been anxiously favoriting trenchant political tweets and escaping to a realm beyond the Seven Kingdoms called “Grantchester,” where a lusty, crime-solving vicar takes my troubles away. Meanwhile, “G.o.T.,” like the Holy Spirit or democracy’s decline, has been all around us.

At a wedding I attended recently, text celebrating the marriage of Daenerys Targaryen and Khal Drogo was read alongside a poem by W. H. Auden. (It was a delightful ceremony, in contrast to Dany and Drogo’s actual wedding, which was more focussed on swordplay-to-the-death and plein-air copulation.) At Madison Square Garden in March, Ramin Djawadi conducted the “Game of Thrones” Live Concert Experience, where green fire blasted around the stage, we listened to “The Rains of Castamere” and watched scenes of the Red Wedding and people yelled “Shame!” in a spirit of euphoria. It was fun—like a disturbing, very elaborate “previously on” montage. And this week, White Walkers roamed around London—adding fun, for once in their lives, not subtracting it.
Starting with the most basic of predictions: Sam Tarly will discover the key to defeating the White Walkers. Game of Thrones have built up Sam finally entering the Oldtown library — no doubt there will be some major payoff, and there’s little doubt over it being the key to ending the long Winter.
Now, on Sunday night, we’re back to the real thing. Bring on the imploding Lannisters, the avenging Starks, the scheming Littlefinger, the randy Tormund Giantsbane, and the no-nonsense tween Lyanna Mormont, who’d rule that realm, and likely the United States, as well as anybody. As last season began, we were in a desperate and vulnerable place: Jon Snow was dead, but Jon Snow couldn’t be dead, and so on. Now that’s sorted out and we have other issues to deal with. (For one thing, Ed Sheeran is going to show up at some point—I’d love to see him fight Brienne of Tarth, but I suppose that’s too much to ask.)

As Season 7—the second-to-last of two final, shortened seasons—begins, the young Starks, uncharacteristically, are in decent shape. They took Winterfell back from the Boltons, and Ramsey, a villain we’d been sick of for what felt like decades, got eaten by dogs. Arya, no longer blind (ugh!), began avenging the many wrongs visited on her family, by feeding Walder Frey a toe-filled pie. (For a Stark kid, that’s a moral victory.) Now they’ve got to sort out the Lannister situation, and then some. Cersei, post-fireball, sits on the Iron Throne. At the end of last season, the Dany contingent—Tyrion, Varys, the Unsullied, Dothraki soldiers, the whole ragtag lot—dramatically set sail for Westeros, having found a way to get a horse-riding army onto boats, and the Greyjoys set sail, too. Fight! Fight! Fight! (Sorry, it’s been a provocative off-season.) And, as ever, the White Walkers, perhaps made more interesting by their day in London, continue to groan and ice around.

The Season 7 trailer begins with Littlefinger dispensing wisdom in a voice-over as Sansa, increasingly formidable, walks through snow, in a luscious fur cloak and no hat. “Don’t fight in the north,” Littlefinger says, breathily. “Or the south. Fight every battle. Everywhere. Always. In your mind.” That sounds like something you’d hear from Steve Bannon, but in the Seven Kingdoms it’s just good sense. In another voice-over, Jon Snow, the new King of the North, talks of banding together to fight a common enemy—he’s a realist, out for survival, sane and reasonable. Such people don’t always get listened to, here or in Westeros, but I’m cautiously optimistic. His role is clearly of mystical importance. His true parentage, one of the central mysteries of the show, was finally confirmed last season after fervent speculation. He’s not the bastard son of Ned Stark, as Ned had claimed; he’s the son of Ned’s sister, Lyanna Stark, and Rhaegar Targaryen, Dany’s brother. Does this mean Jon Snow can near-singlehandedly defeat an army of ice sleazebags and save the world? Don’t ask me. But I’m rooting for him.
We’re can almost guarantee these two will finally meet up. The question is, will they become more than just friends? As viewers know, Daenerys is Jon's aunt (remember R+L=J?), but they don’t know that. Put two attractive, powerful people in a room together and who knows what will happen.
Lannisterwise, the narrative stasis in King’s Landing has ended, and, relatedly, so has the oily-rags-and-pablum tyranny of the High Sparrow. Cersei , having long tried to exert regal influence via her children, is now just doing it herself, for chrissakes. Jaime seems to find her behavior since he left town disturbing, and I get it—she burned everybody up, and unwittingly inspired their young son King Tommen to commit suicide, and pensively clutched so many wine goblets that she may need an intervention. The Season 7 trailer shows her clutching yet more goblets. (Good for her, I say—she has been through it!) Beyond that, she’s about to be besieged by dragons, which are now the size of 747s, the director Matt Shakman has said, and Drogon’s fire breath has a thirty-foot diameter. Cersei would do well to give pay raises to the members of the King’s Landing Fire Department.

I’d love for Littlefinger to somehow become less creepy, because I’m warily fond of him, but that’s not going to happen: creepy is Littlefinger’s bread and butter. He’ll keep trying to manipulate and woo Sansa, and Sansa will keep trying to counter-manipulate him—she likes his army, and so do we. I’m into it, as long as it doesn’t gross me out. For the other Stark siblings, happier days are here again. The trailer shows us Arya on horseback, with further vengeance in her heart, and Bran in a nice new wheelchair, sussing things out across space and time. Perhaps he’ll somehow impart wisdom to Jon about the Children of the Forest, who created the White Walkers? Look, I barely know what that means—we’re getting beyond the Wall of my abilities to understand.

In a similar realm, to me, is Euron Greyjoy, Yara and Theon’s uncle, a latecomer no-goodnik who last season I was a bit too plot-exhausted to care about. But I like the new blood in the Greyjoy story line, between Yara’s increasing power, Theon’s slow return to sanity, boats galore, the murder of their tiresome father, and the welcome advent of lesbianism. I was pleased to learn that in Season 7, as E.W. tells us, Euron has been given a sexy, yet-to-be-revealed makeover, as well as a better, more fun personality. He’s a “hooligan,” not a monster—he is, as the show’s co-executive producer Bryan Cogman put it, “the kind of guy who will kill you *and *steal your girlfriend.” (See? Fun!) The trailer indicates that he also has a good-looking fleet of ships. All of this should definitely help me remember who he is. He, too, wants the Iron Throne, and perhaps he and his enhanced memorability will come into contact with Cersei, her power, and her theoretical status of single and ready to mingle.
The bookies predict Petyr Baelish will be the first to die. Chances are, they’re wrong. There will no doubt be a few more deaths before the manipulator dies, and he will likely die. With Arya on the war path, chances are she will be the one to finish him. Before Littlefinger goes, though, expect him to use Sansa to take the North, likely turning her against Jon Snow.
This is all well and good—your dragons, your ramparts, your warging and fleets—but I’m eager to spend more time with Samwell Tarly in that gorgeous library at the Citadel, which looks awfully relaxing. I’m hoping that he figures something important out there, in the peace and quiet, and I’m hoping for lingering shots of leatherbound wisdom reaching up to the wise, peaceful sky. Maybe he’ll figure out a way to get Jon Snow out of this White Walker mess. Sam isn’t in the preview trailer, but Season 7 photographs show him hunched over a book, quill in hand, reading and writing his little heart out. People have speculated that Sam is the narrator of all this hullabaloo, the person telling us the story of the Game of Thrones, and they’ve been further encouraged by the chandelier at the Citadel Library that resembles the armillary sphere in the opening credits. Put a white beard, glasses, and a little hat on him, and it all makes a lot of sense.
